Right to Refuse
While we welcome everyone to our establishment, we also all deserve a respectful workplace. All Canadians do! We want everyone to enjoy coming to Roy’s Towne Pub, as we enjoy your smiling faces and your company! BC Liquor Board and Laws mandate certain “rules” to refuse service or entry. We also have the right to refuse and ask anyone being disrespectful to guests or staff, to leave the establishment. We have the right to a safe and respectful establishment for all attending (staff and guests alike). Violence is not tolerated. Stealing is not tolerated. Threats are not tolerated. Unsafe behaviours are not tolerated. Rudeness and degrading comments of others will not be tolerated. Bringing your own alcohol (other than unopened wine bottles, for a corking fee and pre-arrangement) is not tolerated and against the law. We will refuse service for such instances, as examples. In rare cases, we may ban from further entry for those that continue disrespect at the establishment.
